I'm Tanuja. Yup, that's me in the picture there. I used to be thinner than that. I used to be a size 0. I lost 40 pounds and went from a size 10 to a size 0 in a healthful way by eating right and exercising smart. I kept it off for many years.
Then came a change. A medication I was on caused me to to gain about 25 pounds back. I was devastated. I had worked so hard for my body and built a business around it and now what was I supposed to do? I struggled. I exercised more. I ate less. I wasn't happy. But was I ever really happy? Did being a size 0 make me happy? The answer was a resounding no.
Today, I'm at a trim healthy weight, eating nourishing foods, glowing from the inside out, and I'm happier than I've ever been with my body and myself.
See, it took me gaining that weight to realize that how we look isn't the way to happiness. It's how we feel about ourselves that makes the real difference.
So you see, this is really all about making yourself feel better. This is about healing yourself and your body in the process. When we're out of shape and feeding ourselves crap, we're going to feel like that. Crap.
When we fill ourselves with nutrient-rich foods, happy thoughts and gratitude, and get the support we need, amazing things happen. We start to gain mental clarity and emotional strength. That quickly translates into feeling better about ourselves physically as well. We're motivated to workout one extra day this week. And have fruit instead of those Oreos (I used to love Oreos so much). Or to cook a meal at home instead of eating out. And before you know it, you've lost 5 pounds. That might sound small, but little wins add up to big wins! I used to be so excited when i even lost 0.2 pounds a week!
It's working and it's working consistently and people start to notice the difference in you.
